First stop: Dim Sum

It’s not worth going to Hong Kong if we don't eat dimsum. It was nice to gather together and enjoy dimsum early in the morning but I wished we went to a restaurant where we can see workers pushing carts of dimsum around; that would have been a much more legitimate experience; luckily, I’ve been to one three years ago.

Next stop: Ladies' Market at Mongkok

There was originally a corporate visit in Hong Kong but since the request was denied, our rest of the day was free. Many wanted to go shopping and since I spoke Cantonese, I led the group to Ladies’ Market and Temple Street. We bargained and shopped for the whole afternoon before we decided to head to Temple Street for more shopping and food.

We ate street food as an early dinner snack before heading to a Hong Kong café for a full dinner meal.

Last stop: Lan Kwai Fong again

After returning to the hotel, the group decided to go to Lan Kwai Fang again. But this time, I became annoyed because everyone decided to station themselves in front of a 7 Eleven. So this went on for half an hour before I couldn’t stand it and walked away. I took an Uber back and realized I forgot to text my friends until one of them asked me where I was. I quickly texted them to let them know I got back safe at the hotel.
